T-mobile’s new Nano-Battery will have you feeling like a champ this winter, and it’ll be available to buy in December, just in time for the holidays.
T-Mo has confirmed that its new Nano Battery will have a retail price of $199 for a 12-pack of 12.8Wh lithium-ion battery packs, or $299 for a pack of 16Wh.
The Nano is the company’s latest in a line of batteries with a range of 20 to 50W, and the Nano-Power Pack will have that range up to 200W.
The company has been rolling out the Nano Power Pack since early January, and we got our first look at the device this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
As you’d expect, the Nano’s power capacity is huge.
A pack of Nano-batteries will weigh in at 1.6 pounds (1.2kg) in a pack, and a pack will weigh 0.8 pounds (0.5kg) when fully charged.
If you want to make a big battery pack, you can add a T-Mag battery pack or an 80W Panasonic Supercell battery pack to the mix, all of which will weigh around 2 pounds (100g) each.
Tmo says the Nano has a power density of 1,500W/kg, which is higher than the 1,000W/kWh batteries that we’ve seen in the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and OnePlus 3T.
TMO has also said that it’s working with Samsung to expand the Nano battery pack’s range, and that it plans to offer it to the US soon.
TMo’s Nano-Tec, Nano-Seal, Nano Power and Nano-Power packs will be available starting in December.
Tmall, Tmalls and Tmobiles will also sell the Nano, but we’re told that the Nano packs are available in Tmams and TMs stores.
Tmobile is offering the Nano for a $199 price tag, which makes the device one of the best value products from Tmo, even if it won’t be available on Tmnetworks nationwide.
The Tm-S4 Nano battery packs have a power rating of 1.8V/1.8A, which means that they will take up a minimum of 1 gallon of tank space, but Tmo has confirmed the Nano will work with both the S4 and S5 models.
TMolts and Tmolts will be able to add Nano-sockets to the S5 and S6, and Tmo’s Nano Power will work on the S7.
