TEMPE, Ariz.

— A woman who spent six months living in a titanium bicycle and living on the streets has been arrested and charged with assault after police say she beat a man.

The Tempe police department says 29-year-old Michelle Kincaid beat her ex-boyfriend on Aug. 18 in Tempe after she was told he didn’t have the proper paperwork for a car, a car insurance policy, a vehicle registration and a driver’s license.

She was arrested on Thursday and is being held on $150,000 bond.

Police say the woman, who was not named in court records, has been living on Tempe’s West Side.

Tempe Police Chief Larry Schlepp said he thinks the woman may be addicted to drugs and alcohol.

Kincaid’s lawyer declined to comment.
